For those with young kids… you’ll understand. You’ve been there. Every time I look at this picture my wife took last week, I laugh out loud. Who wouldn’t?
It’s the dichotomy of the situation: happy children singing “Happy Birthday To You!” and smiling with their happy parents looking on… and then there’s my little guy (Michael). He’s not happy. He’s not singing. He’s screaming out of anguish and lashing out with his full body because my wife Paris wouldn’t let him blow out the candles… Just too damn funny!
It’s moments like these that make it so worth being a parent…
